In the sixth episode of A Kiss of the Indirect Variety, titled “Alya’s Hidden Feelings,”which premiered on August 7, 2024, on Tokyo MX and other networks in Japan, Alya is seen concealing her emotions in front of her friends. Yuki Suou playfully taunts Alya by confessing her love for Masachika Kuze, and also introduces Ayano Kimishima as her running mate for the upcoming student council elections.
In addition, a significant moment between Alya and Masachika Kuze was featured in episode 6 of the Russian series, where they shared a moment at a cafe. Masachika offered advice to Alya on how to approach her campaign, particularly in her competition against Yuki Suou. Following a filler episode, the show resumed its focus on the main storyline.
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian episode 6: Yuki Suou Opens Up to Alya about Her Feelings for Masachika Kuze
Beginning where the previous installment left off, Russian episode 6 of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings starts with Masachika Kuze making his acquaintance with the rest of the student council. Kenzaki requests Masachika’s assistance with a task for Masha later in the day.
At the same time, Yuki Suou makes the decision to visit the art club and meet with them to discuss their upcoming exhibit. She also requests for Alya, the student council treasurer, to accompany her. Masachika is suspicious of Yuki’s intentions. As they walk through the hallway, Alya asks Yuki if they can have a quick conversation.
Yuki leads Alya to a vacant room and inquires about her well-being. During the sixth episode of the Russian series, “Sometimes Hides Her Feelings,”Alya reveals to Yuki Suou that Masachika Kuze has agreed to assist her in the upcoming presidential election.
Yuki admits that she doesn’t mind, but she is slightly disappointed that Masachika didn’t choose her. She then reveals that she loves Masachika more than her own parents. Alya is taken aback by Yuki Suou’s confession, as she was unaware of the sibling relationship between Masachika and Yuki.
Yuki takes advantage of the misinterpretation and playfully teases Alya, questioning her about her feelings for Masachika. Surprised and a little flustered, Alya admits that she sees Masachika as a dear friend.
When Yuki continues to question her, Alya declares that although she is unsure of her feelings towards him, she will not allow Yuki to have him. Yuki is satisfied with Alya’s response and suggests they go to the art club.
In episode 6 of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, the storyline continues with Yuki requesting permission from Alya to address her by her nickname, to which Alya agrees. Additionally, Yuki urges Alya to use her first name when addressing her.
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian episode 6: Masachika, Masha, and Black Tea with Jam
The focus in the sixth episode of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian shifts to the student council room, where Masachika Kuze is impressed by Masha’s diligent work ethic. At the same time, Chisaki’s clumsiness is on display as she accidentally knocks over several books from the shelf.
After a period of time, Masha inquires with Masachika about his preference for black tea. She suggests he try it with jam and also asks if he knows much about Russia during their discussion.
Masachika admits that his knowledge of Russian is limited to what he has learned from watching movies with his grandfather. He also reveals that he had secretly studied the language in order to impress a girl he liked during his childhood. In episode 6 of “Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian,”Alya and Yuki are seen returning to the student council room.
To Masachika’s surprise, Alya sits next to him while Yuki watches with amusement. The silver-haired girl states that it’s considered unlucky for a young woman to sit in the corner, but Masachika reminds her that it’s only for those who have made the decision to marry.
Masha inquires of Alya if she has met her ideal partner for marriage. Feeling ashamed, Alya hastily responds in Russian that it is premature for her to consider marriage. In response, Masha presents her with a plate filled with jam.
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian episode 6: Masachika’s indirect kiss with Alya
After completing their tasks for the student council, Alya and Masachika make plans to return home. While walking, Masachika suggests they take a break at a nearby cafe. He believes it would be beneficial for them to discuss important matters related to their upcoming election campaign.
In a casual manner, Alya suddenly mentions in Russian that she believes it to be a date. While at the cafe, she orders ice cream and a few desserts to help clear her mind. Masachika inquires if something happened between her and Yuki, but Alya remains silent. She then proceeds to ask if he and Yuki are in a romantic relationship.
Despite Masachika’s assurance that he is not dating anyone, he reasons that Yuki may have lied to purposely upset her. In episode 6 of “Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian,”the story continues with Masachika straightforwardly stating to Alya that they have no chance of defeating Yuki in the election with their current situation.
Masachika tells Alya that Yuki has been a top contender for a long time. Even during their middle school years, she gained everyone’s admiration for her skill in the student congress (a debate).
As Masachika talks about Yuki, she can’t help but think of something mischievous. She playfully offers the boy a bite of parfait from her spoon, and he eagerly accepts, knowing that it’s an indirect kiss.
Masachika brings the conversation back to the previous topic, emphasizing the importance of approaching the situation from a different perspective in order to defeat Yuki. He reflects on how Kenzaki’s transformation story was the key to his election victory and suggests that Alya should also share her efforts with others.
Masachika suggests to Alya that she should focus on delivering a strong closing ceremony speech for the first term in order to pique the students’ interest in her as a potential candidate. He emphasizes the importance of being genuine and not pretending to be someone she is not. After their conversation at the cafe, the two of them make their way back home.
Masachika speculates about the identity of Yuki Suou’s running partner. He believes that Taniyama Sayaka, who pushed Yuki to her limits during their middle school election, may be her chosen partner. When Alya asks about Taniyama, Masachika mentions that she was a formidable opponent and could be a challenging partner.
The following day in the student council office, Masachika Kuze discovers that Ayano Kimishima is Yuki Suou’s new running partner, instead of Taniyama as he initially thought. The sixth episode of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian ends with Masachika appearing slightly concerned as he sees Ayano.
