Masachika recalls Alya revealing her feelings for him in Russian. He ponders over her sincerity and begins to question if she has been flirting with him in Russian throughout their time together.

Despite his initial reaction, he dismisses the thought and considers the possibility that she simply spoke without thinking. Memories of his parents’ constant arguments flood his mind, causing him to question the validity of something as fragile as “love.”

After joining the student council as a member, Masachika Kuze confesses to Yuki that he intends to support Alya’s bid for the position of student council president. Despite Masachika’s surprise, Yuki responds in a childlike manner instead of feeling down.

She believes that Alya’s enchanting beauty has caused her brother to distance himself from her. In episode 5 of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, the storyline shifts to Seirei High School. Alya puts in effort to appear composed in front of Masachika, but she soon realizes that he is not behaving in his usual manner.

Despite not forgetting to do his homework, Masachika also managed to avoid looking sleep-deprived. This small change intrigues Alya, making her wonder if he is genuinely trying to improve his lifestyle for her.

The setting shifts to the school’s playing area, where Masachika loses consciousness after being struck by a volleyball. Afterwards, Alya approaches him outside and inquires about his well-being.

Upon checking the boy’s temperature, she notices that he may have a fever. On the contrary, Masachika becomes a bit self-conscious when he sees Alya nearby. To add to his discomfort, he suddenly remembers Yuki’s remarks about Alya’s physical appearance.

Despite occasionally concealing her emotions in Russian episode 5, Alya eventually reveals her vulnerability as she fixes her hair. Masachika finds himself captivated by the stunning appearance of the silver-haired girl.

Afterwards, Alya inquires with Masachika about his well-being and expresses her concern for his behavior throughout the day. She eventually reveals her suspicion that he hasn’t been his usual self. In response, Masachika explains that he skipped breakfast, causing Alya to become annoyed with him.

During class, Masachika Kuze invites Alya to join him in going to the Student Council. However, Alya does not respond and walks off by herself. Masachiak realizes he may have overstepped his boundaries. Suddenly, they both witness members of the baseball and football clubs apologizing to someone from the Student Council.

In Russian episode 5, Alya initially conceals her emotions before revealing them to Chisaki Sarashina, the vice president of Seirei High’s Student Council. It is disclosed that she was previously known as the “boss”because of her wild behavior.

Additionally, she has gained a reputation for using “gentle force”to resolve issues. The scene captures a sweet interaction between Kenzaki and Sarashina, showcasing the dynamic of a romantic duo.

After some time, Yuki Suou arrives and Kenzaki begins the Student Council meeting. Episode 5 of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian concludes with Masachika Kuze formally introducing himself and announcing his intent to be Alya’s running mate in the upcoming presidential election.
