Amouranth dethroned as most-watched female creator by rising Twitch streamer

Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa, a popular streamer and successful entrepreneur, has been surpassed as the top-watched female content creator by one of the rising stars on Twitch.

Despite being the top female creator on Twitch in 2022, Amouranth’s reign in the streaming world was challenged in 2023 when she signed a highly profitable contract with the emerging streaming platform, Kick.

As Kick continued its growth, so did Amouranth, starting off 2024 as the highest-ranking female streamer across all platforms (excluding VTubers).

However, according to the latest stat reports from Stream Hatchet and Streams Charts, she has been dethroned as the top female streamer in Q2.

In the second quarter of 2024, there was a significant decrease of 24% in Siragusa’s viewing hours, even though she had increased her streaming time.

Mira has overtaken Amouranth as the top female streamer.

Overall, Amouranth had a total of 4.12 million hours watched, slightly surpassing IRL creator Jinny who had 3.85 million hours watched. Valkyrae, a YouTuber and co-owner of 100 Thieves, came in third with 3.77 million hours watched.

The top performer in the second quarter of 2024 was Mira, a popular Twitch streamer, whose viewership increased by an incredible 28%, with her content being consumed for a total of 5.10M hours.

Mira has an impressive following of over 700,000 on Twitch, where she focuses on creating IRL and Just Chatting content. Additionally, she has gained a considerable fan base on Instagram with more than 1 million followers on the platform.

Despite Mira’s success, there are four other creators who surpass her in terms of hours watched when factoring in VTubers. Japanese Vtuber Pekora claims the top spot with 9.6M hours watched, trailed by Miko, ironmouse, and Koyori.

Female VTubers have surpassed both Mira and Amouranth.

Despite facing potential challenges, Amouranth has made significant strides in her career, elevating her above her peers and positioning her well in the fight to reclaim the throne.

In 2024, the streamer revealed that she had become a co-owner of the esports organization Wildcard Gaming. She has also earned millions through her adult content and successfully launched her own brand of beer.
