Angelababy has been prohibited from participating in activities in China since September of last year, following her attendance at the 19+ Crazy Horse Show in Paris to watch BLACKPINK’s Lisa perform.
The Crazy Horse Show is a renowned adult entertainment show in France. However, after Angelababy attended the show, numerous Chinese netizens harshly condemned the actress, claiming that she was promoting lewd performances that are strictly prohibited by the Chinese Directing Business Association.
In the past year, Angelababy’s personal account in China was banned and her CF videos were removed. Additionally, she was forced to leave “Keep Running,”the entertainment program she had been a part of for a decade.
On July 30th, it was announced that Angelababy’s new drama “Everlasting Longing”had successfully passed its final screening for broadcast, indicating that the actress may be making a comeback.
