Anime Adaptation Announced for A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation with Key Visual Reveal

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the production of the anime adaptation for A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation was officially confirmed, accompanied by an exciting key visual. The announcement was made through the official X account (formerly known as Twitter) of TO Books, the Japanese publisher responsible for the light novel series from which the anime is derived.

The upcoming anime will bring to life the original light novel series created by author Misaki and illustrator Sando, which shares the same title. As of now, no further details regarding the anime’s development have been released. It remains uncertain when more information about the series will be made available.

The key visual for A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation was revealed along with the announcement confirming the television adaptation. Additionally, the post highlighted that the light novel series has surpassed 1.5 million copies in circulation and provided release dates for forthcoming volumes, including the 19th volume of the light novel and the 11th volume of the manga, both set to launch in Japan on October 15.

This eye-catching visual showcases the protagonist, Lizel, prominently, flanked by his companions Gil and Aign. They are depicted walking through a picturesque city on a breezy, beautiful day, with Lizel and Aign wearing smiles, while Gil maintains a reserved expression amid the cheerful atmosphere.

The anime will faithfully adapt the light novels that originated from Misaki’s web novel, which began its journey on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in January 2014. The light novel series commenced in June 2018, followed by a manga adaptation that debuted in December 2018, with 8Key credited for story composition and Misaki for character art. All formats are actively serialized and updated.

The manga adaptation is currently being published in English by Tokyopop, which has released eight volumes to date, with a ninth volume set to arrive on October 22, 2024. The official description provided by Tokyopop summarizes the story as follows:

“When Lizel discovers himself in a city that oddly resembles his own yet is distinctly different, he quickly realizes an improbable truth: he has entered a completely new world.
