On November 8, 2024, Shogakukan made an exciting announcement regarding the upcoming adaptation of Hotel Inhumans, an anime based on Ao Tajima’s acclaimed manga series. Alongside the announcement, a captivating visual was unveiled, and the series is slated to premiere in 2025. Insights into the main production team behind the anime were also disclosed.

Launched on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry platform in June 2021, Ao Tajima’s manga has gained considerable popularity, leading to the publication of eight tankobon volumes. The ninth volume is set for release on November 19, 2024, further expanding the story for fans and newcomers alike.

Exciting Developments for Hotel Inhumans Anime

The official website and social media accounts for Hotel Inhumans were launched as part of the announcement, featuring an eye-catching image that showcases one of the main characters, Sara. In the visual, she is depicted with a gun, poised for action while attending to guests within the opulent hotel lounge. Along with her stylish appearance, the luxurious surroundings of the hotel are highlighted with a tagline stating, “Welcome to the hotel exclusively for assassins.”

In addition to the visual release, the creative team also shared a congratulatory illustration featuring Sara and Ikuro, capturing their joy over the anime adaptation. Ao Tajima expressed his surprise and excitement in a translated message, stating:

“Hotel Inhumans is going to be made into an anime! I’ve been in such a state of shock since I first heard about it that I thought it was a dream. As the original author and as one of the viewers, I’m very happy that there’s so much to look forward to in the future. I hope you’ll enjoy the story of Sara and Ikuo, who talk and move in a world of color and sound, alongside the assassins.”

The anime will be helmed by director Tetsuro Amino, renowned for his work on Shiki and Macross 7, at Bridge Studio. Shoji Yonemura will oversee the series scripts, while character design will be provided by Shingo Fujisaki, who previously contributed to Let This Grieving Soul Retire.
