On July 25, Remnant 2 celebrated its first year by revealing its upcoming final DLC: The Dark Horizon. This highly anticipated expansion is said to be its most ambitious one yet, featuring a plethora of fresh content and additional areas to discover.
Since its initial release in July 2023, Remnant 2 has since dropped two additional DLCs: The Awakened King and The Forgotten Kingdom.
The continuation of the narrative from the base game was brought forth in The Awakened King DLC, as players returned to Losomn to confront the newly awakened One True King. Along with its introduction of the Ritualist archetype and new items, the DLC further enhanced the game experience.
During April 2024, The Forgotten Kingdom increased the size and added to the lore of the Yaesha biome. As players fought against the ancient stone entity, Lydusa, they also uncovered the mysterious history of the long-lost Yaesha tribe.
To mark the anniversary of Remnant 2, the developers have revealed that the final DLC, titled The Dark Horizon, will be released in September 2024.
