Anthony Mackie accidentally reveals huge spoiler for Captain America 4

According to Anthony Mackie, Sam Wilson will face off against the Red Hulk in Captain America 4… but that’s not all.

Six years after the passing of Steve Rogers, Anthony Mackie’s character will finally star in his own film (sorry, Tom Holland) titled Captain America: Brave New World.

Earlier this month, the first trailer was released, giving viewers a glimpse at Sabra, a contentious character that prompted calls for boycotting the film, as well as Sidewinder played by Giancarlo Esposito and Thunderbolt Ross portrayed by Harrison Ford. In the movie, Ross will undergo a transformation into the Red Hulk.

The reveal wasn’t unexpected as McDonald’s had already leaked this information months ago. Furthermore, the presence of Ford’s character hinted at the possibility of his gamma-powered alter ego making an appearance. However, according to Mackie, there might be another Avenger joining in.

The Hulk will “show up” in Captain America 4

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Mackie appeared to suggest that the Hulk will make an appearance in Captain America: Brave New World.

The star clarified to Ford that the events of Hulk and his film are not relevant to this movie, stating, “I’m not talking about Red Hulk, I’m referring to the other Hulk. It’s important to remember that there are multiple Hulks, but only one Red Hulk will appear in this film.”

“When he arrives, his world, his universe, and his story are entirely distinct from how we incorporate him into our narrative.”

Despite his capabilities, Wilson is no match for a Hulk. Therefore, it would make sense for him to team up with Bruce Banner.

Earlier this year, Mark Ruffalo confirmed that he would be returning to his role in the highly anticipated Marvel movie. When asked if he could share any details, he responded confidently, “Yes, it’s going to be fantastic!”

Despite initial claims from sources close to Marvel denying his involvement, it now appears that they were simply bluffing.
