Anticipation Builds as SBS Releases Teaser Poster for New Drama “The Fiery Priest 2”

On October 10th, the creative team behind “The Fiery Priest 2” introduced a teaser poster, significantly escalating viewer excitement. This highly awaited sequel arrives after a five-year hiatus, continuing the narrative of the virtuous priest Kim Hae-il as he tackles a drug-related case.

The striking poster showcases familiar faces from the first season—Kim Nam-gil portraying Kim Hae-il, Honey Lee as Park Kyung-sun, and Kim Sung-kyun as Goo Dae-young. It leaves a memorable impression, particularly with Father Kim Hae-il depicted in his fluttering priestly garments, flanked by prosecutor Park Kyung-sun and detective Goo Dae-young, both of whom project intense gazes.

In this image, Kim Hae-il grips a rosary, radiating a warrior-like presence. As “Bellato,” an exceptional fiery priest appointed by the Pope, he is equipped with the power to seek justice and confront malevolent forces.
