AOMG Ends Contract With Code Kunst — And Ahgases Are Worried For Yugyeom

Following the termination of its exclusive contract with Code Kunst, AOMG has caused concern among Ahgases about the future of GOT7’s youngest member, Yugyeom.

Code Kunst Leaves AOMG and Yugyeom’s Status Inside Company

On April 26, AOMG announced Code Kunst’s departure from the agency through an official statement. This was a result of the soloist’s exclusive contract expiring.

In 2018, AOMG welcomed Code Kunst to their agency. However, after 6 years, the artist has decided to move on, and AOMG would like to express their gratitude for his dedication and contributions during his time with them.

The company also urged everyone to show their support for Code Kunst in his future endeavors and activities. See the full announcement below:

We would like to inform you that the exclusive contract between AOMG and Code Kunst has come to an end.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to him for his wonderful work in various fields since 2018, and AOMG will continue to sincerely support Code Kunst’s activities and growth.

We are grateful for your generous support and love. We would also like to ask you for your love and interest in Code Kunst’s new challenges and activities.

Thank you.”

On social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter, netizens expressed their thoughts on Code Kunst’s departure from AOMG. Some took the opportunity to wish the soloist the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Despite the distress expressed by the majority of commenters, many were concerned about the declining artist roster at AOMG. Ahgases also voiced their worries about Yugyeom’s well-being within the agency.

On March 28, GRAY, Lee Hi, Woo Won Jae, and Goosebumps all departed from AOMG at the same time. This was later followed by Simon Dominic’s exit on April 22.
