Apex Legends introduces new Revival mode inspired by Warzone resurgence

Apex Legends will introduce a new mode in Season 22 that will be highly reminiscent of Warzone’s Resurgence mode from Call of Duty. Here’s all the details we have about it.

Season 22 of Apex Legends will introduce a variety of noteworthy updates. After years of complaints from keyboard and mouse players, aim assist will finally be receiving nerfs. In addition, players can look forward to the addition of Akimbo pistols and the new E-District map.

One addition that may not seem entirely unfamiliar to those who have played Warzone before is the implementation of the Revival mode. This feature allows players to return to the game without relying on a teammate’s banner or respawn beacon. They can re-enter the map multiple times until their team is completely eliminated.

The official description of Apex Legends’ Revival mode is as follows:

Players can remain in The Games until the end of Round 4 with Unlimited Revival. The rule is simple: if at least one squadmate is still alive, players will receive a new revival. Simply wait for at least 30 seconds (with the time increasing each round) to automatically drop in near the safest teammate.

“In even more surprising developments, Respawn Beacons and Banners have been eliminated, making it even simpler to quickly join a team and initiate another battle.”

E-District is the latest map being added to the Apex Games.

It is possible for squadmates to decrease the revival timer by dealing damage and knocking out opponents. However, it is important to note that revives will no longer be available after Round 4. Therefore, in such a situation, the remaining players must focus on winning the game.

In Warzone, Resurgence is limited to smaller, mode-specific maps or segments of the larger map. In Apex Legends, the standard maps will be utilized as this mode replaces regular trios at the beginning of the season.

Apex Legends Season 22 is set to launch on Tuesday, August 6. Be sure to check out the preliminary patch notes to stay up-to-date on all the new features and updates coming to the game.
