Apex Legends will be receiving numerous cosmetic and balance updates through the Double Take collection event, as well as a new Quads mode that will introduce 4-man teams and add some excitement to the game.
The developers have always focused on a team of three people as the basic mode in the game, but they have also explored different numbers for limited-time modes.
Respawn released a trailer in conjunction with the announcement of the Double Take Collection Event, giving viewers a preview of the 24 cosmetics that will be available during the event and also showcasing the new Quads mode.

In the Quads mode, 15 squads consisting of four individuals each will compete against one another. The loot pool has been adjusted to accommodate the larger number of players per squad.
To guarantee that all members of a team have access to sufficient ammo, attachments, and other items, these adjustments to the loot pool have been made. Additionally, there is now a slightly increased likelihood of finding high-quality weapons.
There will be an increased likelihood of discovering ammunition, health items, shields, scopes, and deployables in loot boxes, as well as finding fully-equipped blue and purple weapons dispersed throughout the area.
There will be a total of 15 replicators, instead of the usual 12, providing teams with additional chances to acquire valuable resources or revive fallen teammates using crafted banners.
Moreover, the developers have made modifications to abilities such as Valkyrie’s Skyward Dive to accommodate the presence of an additional teammate, ensuring that abilities reliant on teamwork are not weakened by the addition of another squad member.
Completing the lineup is the unveiling of Ranked Rumble, a revamp that will replace Ranked Play entirely beginning August 3. It encompasses a comprehensive set of modifications that aim to align ranked placements more closely with ALGS regulations and reduce the entry fees for certain higher ranks.
Although the Solos playlist was not well-received as a limited-time mode, Quads has the potential to establish itself as a fresh way to enjoy Apex Legends.
