Apex Legends Season 22 Introduces Revival Mode
Apex Legends is set to launch an exciting new mode called Revival in Season 22, which draws inspiration from the popular Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence gameplay. This innovative mode promises to keep players engaged for longer durations as they battle it out in the arena.
How Revival Mode Works
Revival will be featured as a Trios takeover, allowing players to experience standard matches without the use of Respawn Beacons or Banners. Instead, those who are eliminated can return to the game after a brief timer, provided at least one teammate remains active. This mechanic encourages teamwork and strategic play.
The revival sequence kicks in with a Drop-In Sequence, where players will redeploy near their closest surviving teammate if their squad has endured without them. The initial revive timer is set at 30 seconds, but this duration extends with each successive round. Notably, once the action reaches Round 4, players can no longer respawn if they are taken down.
It’s important to note that if the entire squad is eliminated before the timer expires, the team is out of the game.

Fast-Paced Battle Royale Experience
Revival brings an electrifying new dynamic to the battle royale experience. Fans of Call of Duty’s Resurgence mode will feel right at home, as Apex Legends aims to deliver high-octane gameplay where every player’s goal is to stay alive and assist their teammates in returning to the fight.
Maps and Future Developments
This new mode will utilize familiar maps, including the newly rotated E-District, Broken Moon, and Storm Point. As further details and mechanics about Revival emerge, they are expected to be detailed in the upcoming patch notes, which will be reflected in updates to this article.
Launching at the beginning of Season 22, the Revival mode will uniquely be a Trios experience. However, developers hinted during the press event that there are plans to eventually evolve this mode into a standalone gameplay format. This addition will provide players with yet another entertaining option in conjunction with existing modes like Battle Royale, Mixtape, and limited-time modes (LTMs).
Additionally, the developers addressed players’ desires for Quads and Solos modes, indicating they are working on bringing these modes back with enhancements, although no specific timelines were disclosed.
