Apex Legends Player Shares Insights on Most Commonly Found Weapons in Supply Bins

In the Apex Legends Season 21 update, Respawn incorporated guaranteed weapon spawns in Supply Bins. A player has since revealed the most frequently appearing guns with this new feature.

Gone are the days when Apex Legends players would frantically search through multiple Supply Bins, only to come up empty-handed and frustrated.

The Upheaval update ensures that players without a weapon will receive a guaranteed gun spawn when opening their first Supply Bin after entering a match.

What the patch notes failed to disclose, however, were the specific weapons that would be available in these “guaranteed weapon”scenarios.

On the game’s Reddit page, a player of Apex Legends conducted an experiment in which they recorded the spawn rates of each weapon they encountered in-game. They played 100 games and documented every gun that appeared as a guaranteed weapon spawn.

The following are the results:

  • P2020: 10
  • Mozambique: 9
  • Alternator: 8
  • C.A.R: 8
  • RE-45: 6
  • Havok: 5
  • G7 Scout: 5
  • Wingman: 5
  • Rampage: 5
  • 30-30: 4
  • Prowler: 4
  • Spitfire: 4
  • Nemesis: 4
  • Flatline: 3
  • Sentinel: 3
  • R-99: 3
  • R-301: 3
  • Peacekeeper: 2
  • L-Star: 2
  • Hemlok: 2
  • Was: 2
  • Longbow: 1
  • Mastiff: 1
  • Charge-Rifle: 1
  • Triple Take: 0

The player also clarified that they considered multiple weapons in one bin as one spawn for each, and that these numbers were gathered while playing in both solo and trio queues.

The weapons that the player frequently acquired were the P2020, Mozambique, and C.A.R, which are decent weapons for the beginning of the game but not particularly strong.

Despite the experiment showing that players can obtain powerful guns such as the Havoc, Hemlok, or Peacekeeper due to this new change, it should not be expected for players to be automatically given a strong weapon through this mechanic.

Reddit users praised the poster for their diligent experiment, with many confirming the high spawn rates of the P2020, Mozambique, and Alternator from their own gameplay.

“Great! I had the impression that Mozams were more prevalent, but I thought it was just my perception,”one user commented.

Despite spawn rates being important, it is equally important for players to understand how to effectively use the weapons they receive when dropping into an Apex Legends game.
