As Season 22 has caused a major bug in one of his abilities, Apex Legends players are calling on Respawn to make some updates to an often neglected legend.
Despite causing plenty of headaches, the changes for Apex Legends Season 22 revealed by Respawn Entertainment were met with excitement from fans. The highly anticipated additions of the new map, E-District, and the rework of Crypto’s drone were the highlights of the new season.
One of the main concerns for players are the health bars in the latest battle sense update. Specifically, Mirage mains have expressed frustration over how the health bars can reveal the real character’s location among their decoys.
The new update has not only unintentionally nerfed Mirage, but also caused frustration among Newcastle mains.
Famous Apex Legends content creator Manuzz brought attention to the fact that the latest season has caused a glitch in the speed of his Swift Shield upgrade. According to him, the upgrade has no impact on the speed of his tactical ability. Manuzz demonstrated this issue in action after sharing his thoughts on Twitter.
“This upgrade is crucial for my character,”he stressed. “Unfortunately, it is not functioning properly and does not provide any benefits.”

Many players showed their support for Newcastle mains by tagging Respawn on social media in hopes of a solution. One Newcastle user, who was not aware of the issue, admitted to always choosing thick shields and never noticing before.
Despite the argument that his low pick rate among casual players may prevent him from gaining popularity, others recognized that he has recently been utilized in high-level games, suggesting a potential shift in his overall usage.
“One person chimed in, saying that they have seen decent play from professionals, so they will probably get the issue fixed. Another person added that they have observed many teams in the Predator rank using Newcastle, Crypto, and Rev.”
Besides him and Mirage, other players are also struggling this season. Caustic’s selection rate in high-level games has also decreased, leading to calls for additional adjustments.
