Like with the previous incremental upgrade, you should expect modest modifications to your watch in addition to system-wide improvements. Continue reading to learn more about the watchOS 9.5 beta.
Apple installs the new software with the build number 20T5527c on the watch. As is customary, the first beta requires slightly more data than subsequent beta releases; today’s release is approximately 318MB in size.
If your watch is compatible with watchOS 9 and you are a developer, you can install the updated software on your watch without restriction. The upgrade is currently available to developers, but it will soon be available to public beta testers.
Apple did not disclose any details regarding improvements in the release notes, as it did with past beta upgrades, but you can expect new features and refinements with this update. And, obviously, we can’t anticipate much from watchOS 9.5 because we’re getting near to the announcement of watchOS 10, which will take place at the WWDC event.
Here’s how to get watchOS 9.5 beta on your Apple Watch.
