The September 2024 release of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is rumored to include only minor hardware upgrades.
Despite previous rumors, Apple is still planning on unveiling its durable all-weather Watch Ultra 3 and a lineup of other products, such as the iPhone 16 and Apple Watch X, in September of this year.
According to rumors, the upcoming Watch Ultra 3 is expected to closely resemble the Apple Watch Ultra 2. MacRumors reports that, based on information from reliable source Ming Chi-Kuo, the Watch Ultra 3 may not feature any major hardware improvements compared to its predecessor.
Despite this, Kuo did not disclose any specific details regarding the changes that we can anticipate in the upcoming Apple Watch Ultra 3. It should be noted that the previous model, the Apple Watch Ultra 2, was a minor improvement from its predecessor, leading users to speculate that the company is adhering to a biennial upgrade pattern.
Despite this, the most recent report from Kuo suggests that those hoping to upgrade may need to be patient and wait a bit longer.
The Watch X series from Apple is set to receive upgrades, including features such as a sleep apnea detector and blood pressure monitor. As the flagship smartwatch from the brand, the Apple Watch Ultra series may also incorporate these features in the upcoming Ultra Watch 3.
