In Oshi no Ko chapter 163, following Aqua Hoshino’s apparent drowning, he enters a dream state. In this dream, he envisions an alternative world where Sarina Tendouji is cured of her illness and rises as an idol alongside Ai Hoshino.

Aqua then reflects on his choices. Although he believed he did the right thing, he expressed concern about the burden his actions placed on his sister and friends. Notably, Crow Girl addressed Aqua as if death was near, expressing surprise that he still entertained childish thoughts while facing his end.

Subsequently, Crow Girl converses with Aqua about the numerous hardships he endured during his brief 18 years. This segment revisits key memories from Aqua’s life, reinforcing the notion that individuals often see their life flash before them when they are close to death. Such hints strongly imply that Aqua was nearing his end.

Ultimately, as Crow Girl affirmed Aqua’s identity to him, tears streamed down her face, implying her sorrow over the possibility of Aqua’s looming demise. Moments later, Aqua disappears from the “limbo”environment, leading to speculation that he either passed away or was revived.

Regardless, with Aqua’s essence no longer present in “limbo,”fans must await the upcoming chapter for clarity regarding Aqua Hoshino’s fate. As things stand, many may lean towards believing he has died. However, with three chapters remaining, there remains a possibility that Aqua survived his fall and may reconnect with his loved ones.

The good news is that there will be no hiatus before the next chapter is released, and the manga will continue without breaks until it concludes on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
