The characters and storyline of season 2 of Arcane
Arcane season 2 is set to continue its story in Piltover and Zaun, following the fallout between sisters Jinx and Vi. This means we’ll see the same cast of characters appear in Season 2, continuing the story where Season 1 left off, rather than moving to another region of Runeterra.
Jinx and Vi still have a lot to sort out after their last meeting in Arcane season 1, and the same goes for Jayce and Viktor. Singed got more screen time in Act 3, hinting at a possible storyline with Warwick in the final frames of the season.
Additionally, it’s fair to expect Ambessa Medarda, Mel Medarda’s mother, to play a much bigger role in Season 2, considering she’s coming to League of Legends as a playable champion. It will be accompanied by a complete overhaul of a champion crucial to the Arcane storyline and a few other Arcane-themed limited edition events and items.
Heimerdinger and Ekko’s relationship could also be explored further, and other characters from Piltover and Zaun like Camille, Orianna, and some of Singed’s creations could appear. Janna is expected to be mentioned throughout season 2 of the series.
More details on Arcane Season 2 will be released throughout the year.
