AC Milan and Inter, longtime rivals, have been regular features in EA’s football video game series. However, are these prominent Italian clubs included in the latest edition, EA FC 25?
The highly anticipated installment in the well-established series brings forth exciting advancements, including enhancements to beloved features like Clubs and Ultimate Team, as well as the addition of the 5v5 Rush mode. Furthermore, there are rumors circulating about new licensed teams, particularly the inclusion of AC Milan and Inter Milan.
If you’re curious about whether FC 25 will include the Milanese sides, here’s all the information you need to know.
AC Milan and Inter’s Potential Inclusion in FC 25
Unfortunately, AC Milan and Inter will not be included in EA FC 25. Fans will not be able to play as either team in any game modes, such as Career Mode, Ultimate Team, and Kick Off. Additionally, the beloved San Siro stadium, where both teams play, will not be accessible in the game.
Speculations about their absence had been circulating well before the developer deep dives, and the FC 25 beta ultimately validated these claims. Beta screenshots reveal that both teams are identified by alternate names and unique badges. AC Milan is referred to as Milano FC and Inter is known as Lombardia FC.
It should be mentioned, however, that the players from both teams will still be represented by their true likenesses and names.

Why aren’t AC and Inter Milan featured in EA FC 25?
According to ‘DonkTrading’ on X, both AC Milan and Inter have reached an exclusive licensing agreement with Konami’s eFootball platform, resulting in their absence from FC 25. These two teams will now join Atalanta and Lazio as exclusive PES teams, leaving only 16 out of 20 Serie A teams licensed in EA FC.
Interestingly, it has been announced that Napoli and Roma will be making a comeback in EA’s football game this year. These two teams were not featured in EA FC 24 and were only available in eFootball. With Inter and AC Milan now being excluded, it appears that the two rival companies have exchanged team licenses for their respective latest versions.
Although it missed out on essential licenses, FC 25 still has a lot to offer, such as a range of exciting new gameplay features and the revamped FC IQ tactics system.
