Despite the firm’s statement, there is doubt among international fans about the likelihood of BLACKPINK’s fan meetings taking place in the second quarter of 2024. Some speculate that this mention may be part of the planning process, and the actual events may coincide with the group’s 8th debut anniversary on August 8, 2024.

Despite the speculation surrounding the timeline, there is no official confirmation or details from YG Entertainment about the highly anticipated fan meetings for BLACKPINK. Fans are eagerly anticipating the event, however, the exact date remains uncertain.
The excitement surrounding BLACKPINK’s upcoming fan meetings in Asia remains high as fans eagerly anticipate official announcements and information from the agency.
In 2011, YG Entertainment announced their plans to debut two prominent girl groups: the Next Girlgroup (NGG) and Future 2NE1 (F21). Initially known as “Pink Punk,”NGG was intended to have nine members and a fashion sense reminiscent of SNSD, but with a distinctive YG flair.
Despite facing significant delays due to health issues, personal struggles, and training deficiencies, the group persevered and formed BLACKPINK with four members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. However, some former trainees, including Miyeon, Jinny Park, and Euna Kim, found success in other groups or projects after departing from the group.
Despite F21 not debuting, YG continued to push boundaries in the K-pop industry, resulting in the formation of BLACKPINK and the more recent group, BABYMONSTER. This transformation demonstrates the constantly changing landscape of the K-pop world.
