The author brought up a thought-provoking topic, questioning the true level of LE SSERAFIM’s popularity in Japan. They pointed out that while it is claimed that LE SSERAFIM is highly recognized in Japan, the group has yet to hold an event at the prestigious Tokyo Dome, unlike aespa and NewJeans.
There are also netizens who seem to doubt LE SSERAFIM’s popularity in Japan. As one comment stated:

Despite being ‘Rejected’ by university festivals, LE SSERAFIM has been a topic of discussion among K-Netz. At the same time, Eunchae of LE SSERAFIM received criticism from Korean university students for her statements regarding education. A banner displayed at Korea University parodied her remarks, poking fun at her perceived arrogance.
Despite not attending school herself and questioning the value of education, Eunchae’s statements, which included sympathizing with students, angered many who felt she couldn’t truly understand their struggles. Additionally, her performance at Coachella 2024 was met with criticism. Despite the backlash, Eunchae has chosen not to apologize, resulting in ongoing ridicule.
