The production of Arknights season 3 has been approved on Saturday, April 27, 2024. To confirm the development of the sequel, the official staff of the series released a teaser promotional video. Along with the PV, the staff also unveiled an enchanting key visual. However, the release date remains undisclosed at this time.
Arknights: Rise from Ember, is the full title of the series and it serves as a sequel to the previously released Arknights: Perish in Frost, which was aired from October 2023 to November 2023. It is important to note that the anime is based on the Chinese Hypergryph’s Tower RPG mobile game, and Yostar Pictures is once again the producer of the series.

On April 27, 2024, the official website and X handle (@ArknightsStaff) revealed a promotional video and a key visual, officially announcing the production of Arknights season 3, Rise from Ember.
Nevertheless, there were no relevant specifics revealed, such as the anime’s premiere date, actors and crew, and number of episodes.
The 54-second teaser trailer for the third season of Arknights features key characters from the anime, including Amiya and the Doctor. The trailer opens with Amiya, who serves as the main protagonist of the series, expressing her joy at being reunited with the Doctor.
The PV then moves on to showcase numerous thrilling scenes, highlighting the presence of various characters including Kal’tsit, Talulah, Meteorite, FrostNova, and others. The teaser trailer offers a sneak peek into the events that await fans in season 3 of Arknights. It concludes with a mysterious quote from Amiya.
“When the land eats…It isn’t picky about who.”
The video then proceeds to reveal the key visual for season 3, showcasing Talulah, the daughter of Edward Artorius, and Alina, who is known as one of the original members of the Reunion.
Based on both the visual and PV, it appears that the upcoming sequel will depict events from chapters 7 and 8 of the game. Given that Talulah is featured in the visual, it is likely that Rise from Ember will delve into her past. This suggests that the upcoming season will not only be filled with action, but also emotional depth for fans to anticipate.
Yostar Pictures, who previously worked on the first two seasons, will once again be producing this anime. It is expected that the original cast members will reprise their roles, with the addition of Tomoyo Kurosawa as Amiya and Yuki Kaida as the Doctor.
