Arsenal fans issue Alexander Isak transfer demand for Newcastle United star

The supporters of Arsenal have urged their team to acquire the services of Alexander Isak from Newcastle United during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Isak continues to impress for Newcastle as he netted his fifth consecutive goal at home in the Premier League during their 1-1 draw with Everton, according to a tweet by Football on TNT.

After the ball hit the back of the net, Arsenal fans wasted no time taking to social media to demand the club sign the Swede “no matter the cost.”

Some supporters of the north London side expressed their belief that Isak would be a great addition to the team. Some even went as far as comparing the 24-year-old to the legendary Thierry Henry.

In the summer of 2022, before his move to St James’ Park, Isak was strongly connected with a potential transfer to Arsenal. However, Mikel Arteta ultimately decided to bring in Gabriel Jesus from Man City instead.

Despite coming from Real Sociedad, the star player has made a strong impression on Tyneside, netting a total of 19 goals in 32 games across all competitions this season.

Despite leading the way for Arsenal in terms of goals scored this season, Bukayo Saka has only been able to find the back of the net 16 times in 38 games at the age of 22.

The Gunners, who are scheduled to play against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League next week, are optimistic that their participation in Europe’s top competition next season will entice Isak to consider a potential transfer to the capital city.

Isak made history for Newcastle when he scored in their 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League group stages. This marked the first time a Magpies player had scored an away goal in the competition since Alan Shearer did so against Inter Milan in 2003.

Despite Eddie Howe’s team preparing for a season without the Champions League, they currently remain 15 points behind a top-four finish.
