Despite being a Basic Common Pokemon card, the revelation of a new card may not seem like significant news at first glance. However, the unveiling of the Stellar Crown card has caused excitement among the community as it prepares for its release on September 13.
Unveiled through the Pokemon TCG X account, a new Joltik card surprised the Pokemon community with its impressive strength. Despite its low HP and initial lack of competitive viability, its Attack stands out as a formidable force.
The Jolting Charge ability enables the user to find and attach a maximum of 2 Basic Grass Energy and 2 Basic Lightning Energy to their Pokemon in any preferred arrangement. Afterward, the user must shuffle their deck.
Having the ability to immediately access 4 Energy is an extremely speedy method of setting up, and it also happens to be a cost-effective move, requiring only 1 Colorless Energy. This makes it an ideal choice for early-game plays and opens up exciting possibilities for deck construction.

The combination of the Jolting Charge Attack and Joltik’s evolution into the highly anticipated Stellar Tera-type Galvantula ex makes this card extremely promising. Fans of the Pokemon TCG online community were thrilled to see this powerful card.
Despite its small size, players were amazed at how effective the tiny electric critter appeared. One player even declared, “KNEEL BEFORE THE GOD OF DEATH!”and another nicknamed Joltik the “champion of the format.”
Upon observation, a fan remarked, “The attack on such a little guy seems quite absurd,”acknowledging the stark contrast between Joltik’s endearing appearance and its potentially game-changing Attack.
The artwork of the card, rather than its competitive value, captivated certain collectors on X/Twitter. One user in particular commented, “It reminds me of Naoki Saito’s previous style during the Black and White era (even though it’s a different illustrator). I find it fascinating how nostalgic this art makes me feel.”
Although Joltik is only a Basic with 30HP, it is expected to receive a significant amount of attention upon its release in the Stellar Miracle set. This is due in large part to the formidable strength of the Galvantula ex, a Stellar Tera-type that Joltik can evolve into. The Joltik evolutionary line has never been more impressive in the world of Pokemon TCG.
