In early December 2024, Asmongold successfully monetized his alternate Twitch account, known as Zackrawrr, shortly before achieving a remarkable subscriber milestone. This move comes as a significant development in Asmongold’s streaming career following a period of change that began with the loss of his mother in 2021.
Since that tragic event, Asmongold has predominantly focused his streaming efforts on the Zackrawrr account. Although he has made occasional appearances on his primary channel, his activity has been sparse, going live on that account only three times since late 2022, according to data from Twitchtracker.
Prior to its monetization in December, the Zackrawrr account had been unmonetized, which meant fans were unable to subscribe, and Asmongold did not receive any financial compensation. However, Twitch intervened, transitioning him to partner status and enabling ad placements after recognizing that his streams were a financial loss for the platform.
Zackrawrr Climbs the Ranks
On December 6, 2024, Asmongold’s account became officially monetized. In just a few days, he soared into the ranks of the top 10 most subscribed channels on Twitch.
As of the latest updates, Zackrawrr boasts nearly 40,000 subscribers, positioning it as the ninth most subscribed channel on the Amazon-owned platform. This achievement places Asmongold ahead of several prominent Twitch figures, including xQc and FaZe members Plaqueboymax and Stableronaldo.
With his subscriber count likely to continue rising in the coming weeks, Asmongold may soon surpass even more well-known streamers. For instance, he is now less than 10,000 subscribers away from political streamer Hasan, who currently holds the fifth position with 51,360 subs.
The eagerness of Asmon’s audience to support their favorite Twitch star is evident. Within just ten minutes of the monetization announcement, he celebrated amassing over 10,000 subscribers, exclaiming, “Over 10,000 subs now, over 10,000 in ten minutes. It’s a good day to be me right now, it really is.”
