Asmongold Criticizes Ninja as a “Poor Sport” in Ongoing Kai Cenat Twitch Dispute

Twitch sensation Asmongold has shared his thoughts on the well-known feud between fellow streamers Ninja and Kai Cenat, stating that Ninja “seems to be a bad loser.”

In May 2024, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins ignited a controversy with Kai Cenat following his reaction to the influencer’s viral Elden Ring marathon, which many viewers perceived as bitter.

“He does what I could have done if I’d just stayed home and streamed,” Ninja remarked. “And didn’t go to Mixer or anything like that. He’s putting in crazy work, crazy hours, crazy resources into crafting these really authentic, unique streams, man.”

Viewers interpreted these comments as “backhanded,” a sentiment echoed by Kai after Ninja made a similar remark regarding his record-breaking stream with Kevin Hart a few weeks later.

“He’s always said, like, ‘Congrats to him, but this happened,’” Kai expressed. “It’s wild to me because I looked up to Ninja… and I truly believe that streamers have their own different lanes and different times.”

Months later, Ninja had additional comments about Kai Cenat, asserting that the streamer didn’t genuinely “want to win” his Minecraft marathon and was merely losing to “entertain” his audience.

Asmongold responded to a video compilation of these incidents during a live stream in September 2024, admitting that Ninja doesn’t appear to handle competition well.

“Ninja seems to be a bad loser, and I think because of that, people keep trying to provoke him for reactions whenever someone achieves something that Ninja didn’t,” he reflected.

“The problem is, [Ninja] takes it too seriously,” he added towards the end of the video. “You lose when you start to take things too seriously. When you allow yourself to have fun, pace yourself, and truly enjoy the experience, everything’s fine.”

Asmongold emphasized that he respects Kai Cenat’s dedication and believes the streamer’s success stems from his lively energy and his ability to consistently deliver fresh content to his audience, whether it’s gaming marathons, celebrity appearances, or high-stakes challenges.

For his part, Kai has seemingly found humor in the feud, enlisting friends to chant “f*ck Ninja” during a mock press conference following Ninja’s remarks about his Minecraft stream.
