Twitch sensation Asmongold left his audience utterly appalled after revealing he had discovered a dead rat in his home, even sharing video proof of the unfortunate rodent’s remains.
Asmongold’s living situation has gained notoriety—although not for the right reasons. The Twitch streamer has become the subject of memes due to his chaotic home environment.
Back in June, Asmongold acknowledged that he would eventually need to tidy up, asserting that his living conditions had deteriorated significantly, with claims of dead animals in his residence.
“I feel like there’s at least one dead animal in my house right now,” he confessed. “I’m like 70% sure. And it’s been there for a while. There’s mold and stuff everywhere, too.”
Fast forward several months, and Asmongold has stumbled upon one of the deceased animals he referenced.
On September 25, the award-winning MMORPG streamer disclosed that he had previously suspected a dead rat was the source of an unpleasant smell.
“I know when there’s a dead rat in the house. And it had been waking me up, so I got him,” he stated. “I even recorded a little video about it.”
The clip featured Asmongold holding a dead rat with tongs, hovering it over a garbage bin.
“Nasty crusty thing waking me up in the morning,” he quipped in the video, reacting to it. “Get the hell out of my life.”
Viewers expressed their disgust in the chat, with some encouraging the streamer to “get help.”
“That’s so gross,” one viewer commented.
This incident marks not the first time that dead rats have disrupted Asmongold’s sleep. A few years back, he mentioned using a dead rat as an “alarm clock” , as the sun would heat the corpse, generating a smell strong enough to wake him up.
So far, it appears Asmongold has yet to take action on cleaning his home as previously planned, but every journey begins with a single step—one less dead rat is definitely a start.
