Asmongold Reacts to Dr Disrespect’s Return Strategy: He’s Returning as a Villain

Twitch streamer Asmongold expressed shock at Dr Disrespect’s comeback to social media after admitting to sending inappropriate messages to a minor, noting that the two-time is now adopting a “villain”persona.

In late June, Guy Beahm, known as Dr Disrespect, vanished from the streaming community after former Twitch employees disclosed that he had been banned from the platform in 2020 for sending DMs to someone who was underage.

Afterwards, the streamer admitted and verified the accusations, leading to several sponsors and partners severing their connections with him, including his own game development company, Midnight Society.

Despite facing demonetization on his YouTube channel and losing the support of his closest friends, Doc made a comeback on social media in late July. He shared a photo of himself playing chess with an opponent who was using checkers pieces.

Asmongold was taken aback when the streamer responded harshly to those who mentioned his previous controversy with a minor in the comments, believing that Doc had completely dropped his facade.

Asmongold clarified that without any brand deals, the person in question has reached a point where they have nothing to risk.

Dr Disrespect’s return to streaming is highly anticipated and it is predicted that he will attract 200K viewers, especially with the disgraced creator’s recent attacks on his critics.

The OTK streamer observed that he is responding to allegations of communicating with minors by using humor and insults, which is a unique strategy that has not been seen before. The streamer went on to remark that he is returning as a villain and is, in fact, Dr Disrespect.

Despite his full demonetization on YouTube, we are still unsure of what Dr Disrespect has in store for his promised return.

There is a possibility that he will transfer his streams to Kick, as the platform has not completely ruled out the option of banning him in case he begins broadcasting there. Despite the streamer confessing to sending inappropriate messages to a minor, the site’s staff stated that it was “too early”to ban him preemptively.
