<p>The popular streamer Asmongold has reaffirmed his controversial opinion that taking someone to Taco Bell on a first date is perfectly acceptable. He recently shared that he instead took his last date to Whataburger.
Asmongold, known for his candid portrayal of his life online, isn’t shy about discussing everything from personal cleanliness to the latest buzz in online gaming and streaming controversies.
His statement about first dates became a hot topic on social media after he suggested that men should feel comfortable taking women to Taco Bell, asserting that “you’re not too good for Taco Bell.” He further explained that if a woman had an issue with such a choice, it would likely lead to ongoing problems in the relationship.
Despite facing backlash, Asmongold has stood by his argument, sharing details about his last date, which took place at Whataburger as an illustration of his stance.
In his explanation, he mentioned, “Where was the first place I took the last one? Whataburger. It was not Taco Bell, it was Whataburger because it was really late at night. She came over at one or two in the morning, cause she just flew in.”
Asmongold noted that Taco Bell was closed at the hour, which is why he chose Whataburger as his first-date spot.
“It was actually Whataburger because Taco Bell was closed and I wanted to sit inside.”
However, the streamer also revealed some personal news, sharing with his audience that he is currently single, explaining that “she left.” He went on to clarify, “I don’t have a girlfriend, she left… But yeah, that wasn’t the reason why, it’s because of my personality and just the way I am. But it wasn’t because of Whataburger, that wasn’t really the reason.”
