Asmongold Shares Theory About Dr Disrespect’s Return Post Being a Bait for Next Big Strategy

Twitch personality Asmongold theorizes that Dr Disrespect’s taunting of his eventual comeback to streaming is simply a ploy for his next major move following backlash from other content creators.

Guy Beahm, better known as Dr Disrespect, has faced widespread criticism from his fellow internet celebrities after confessing to being permanently banned from Twitch for sending inappropriate messages to a minor in 2017.

In the weeks after his viral confession, which he shared in a lengthy tweet on June 25, 2024, he has remained relatively silent…but has made some adjustments to his Twitter/X profile that caught the attention of social media users.

In August, Beahm updated his X header to feature a viral tweet with a fishing bobber in a dark and stormy sea. He later decided to remove the post entirely.

After remaining silent for weeks, he finally spoke up on August 14 with a new tweet, in which he confirmed that he will resume streaming after his family vacation. “We will be back shortly, Champs,”he stated. “There is plenty to discuss.”

Despite the intense speculation surrounding Beahm’s recent post, Asmongold, another popular streamer, believes that Dr Disrespect may have a surprise plan in store.

“According to Asmon, it seems like Doc’s plan is to make an apex predator move. He believes that Doc will try to downplay his actions and claim that it was all a joke, and that people fell for it when they shouldn’t have.”

“I believe this because he altered his [X header] to appear like this.”

After discovering that Beahm had recently shared his tweet, Asmon was taken aback and covered his face with his hands. He couldn’t believe that the disgraced streamer had posted while he was discussing the same topic.

Despite being obviously gobsmacked at the content of Beahm’s post and the responses from netizens underneath it, he quickly “moved on”from the conversation.

Despite the desire of some fans to see Dr Disrespect return, there remains a larger group who consistently criticize the streamer for his previous actions, ultimately leading to his Twitch ban and subsequent loss of monetization on YouTube.

It remains uncertain which streaming platform Doc will select upon his return, but Kick has stated that it is “premature”to ban him for the situation and has previously extended a $10M offer for him to stream on their platform.
