During the interview, Song Jae-rim candidly spoke about his “bucket list,” expressing a wish that may seem unconventional: “It may sound a bit flashy, but I’d like champagne to be popped at my funeral. Having a festive-like funeral is on my bucket list.” When reflecting on whom he would think of most in his final moments, he poignantly replied, “Probably my parents. I can’t go before they do.”

He was discovered deceased in his home located in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, around 12:30 p.m. the day before. At just 39 years old, the actor’s passing has shocked the entertainment community.

Preliminary investigations indicate there were no signs of foul play, although a suicide note was reportedly found at the scene, heightening the tragedy of this event.
