Avengers 5: The Return of Loki

The working title for the fifth installment of the Avengers film hints at Loki’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this time as a hero.

Over the past few weeks, there have been numerous changes in Avengers 5 because it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. will play the role of Doctor Doom.

The film was also renamed to focus on Doom’s comeback, and the subsequent team-up will revolve around the highly anticipated Secret Wars comic book storyline.

Despite the public title being disclosed for each movie, a confidential name used during production of the Avengers film suggests that Loki will have the opportunity to rejoin the main storyline once more.

According to a user on Reddit, it has been reported that the filming of Doomsday and Secret War, under the names ‘Royale’ and ‘For All Time’, will take place in the UK.

Despite their seemingly insignificant nature, these phrases hold a significant connection to the Loki series, especially in regards to the phrase ‘For All Time’.

The last installment of the Loki TV series was named ‘For All Time. Always,’ as the main character, Loki, and his female counterpart, Sylvie, encountered the enigmatic and perilous force responsible for binding them to the multiverse.

Despite the initial skepticism, it is reasonable for an Avengers film to allude to a Loki episode, given that the series is currently exploring the concept of multiple universes.

If Avengers 5 does decide to incorporate Loki’s overall storyline into canon, it could lead to the former God of Mischief finally fulfilling his ultimate destiny.
