Baban Baban Ban Vampire Anime Confirms Winter 2025 Premiere, Cast, and Staff with PV and Visual

The official staff of Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime has confirmed that the highly anticipated series will premiere in January 2025, which falls under the Winter 2025 season. This announcement was made on Monday, June 24, 2024, during TV Asahi’s Anime Lineup live press conference on YouTube. In addition, the official staff has also released a PV, a new visual, and the names of the main cast and staff members.

The Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime series, produced by studio GAINA, is an adaptation of Hiromasa Okujima’s BL manga of the same name. It should be noted that in this context, BL refers to “Bloody Love Comedy”rather than its more common meaning of “Boy Love.”The manga has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Bessatsu Shonen Champion magazine, with seven volumes currently published.

On Monday, June 24, 2024, TV Asahi’s Anime Lineup hosted a live press conference, during which it was announced that the highly anticipated anime Baban Baban Ban Vampire will debut in January 2025 (Winter 2025) on the channel’s new programming block, IM Animation. The show will air every Saturday at 11:30 PM JST on 24 stations across the country.

The official staff for Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime also released a teaser promotional video, along with the information. The brief clip showcases Ranmaru Mori, energetically cleaning the Koinoyu public bathhouse where he is employed, and confirms the anime’s anticipated premiere in January 2025.

In this vampire anime, Daisuke Namikawa portrays the role of Ranmaru Mori, the vampire, while Yusuke Kobayashi lends his voice as Rihito Tatsuno, the innocent boy. The recently released teaser trailer offers a preview of Daisuke-san’s captivating performance as Ranmaru Mori.

Significantly, the anime’s official site features comments from both Daisuke-san and Yusuke-san. The voice actor for Ranmaru expresses his determination to skillfully convey a blend of seriousness and nonchalance in his portrayal of the character.

Similarly, Yusuke Kobayashi expresses his admiration for the frenzied atmosphere portrayed by each character in the source material. Consequently, he aspires to synchronize his emotions and pace with those of the other characters.

Additionally, a teaser visual for the Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime was revealed on the official site and X handle, showcasing Ranmaru holding a cleaning brush. Interestingly, the dynamic illustration bears a resemblance to the cover image of the first volume of the original manga.

Staff and the Plot of Baban Baban Ban Vampire Anime

In addition to the primary actors, the anime has also disclosed the names of its staff. Itsuro Kawasaki holds the role of directing the anime at studio GAINA, with Takahiro Tamano serving as the assistant director. Yukiko Ban has been credited as the character designer.

Jun Ichikawa, who is known for his contributions to The Morose of Mononokean II, has been enlisted as the music composer, while Shunsuke Masuda and Satoru Kiyomaru continue to serve as the chief animation director.

Focusing on Okujima’s BL (Bloody Love) manga series, the Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime revolves around Ranmaru Mori, a 450-year-old vampire who takes on a part-time job at a well-established public bathhouse.

As a vampire, Ranmaru desires the blood of an 18-year-old virgin. As a result, he keeps a close eye on Rihito, a 15-year-old boy and the son of the owners of the bathhouse. The anime will showcase a distinctive mix of comedic moments and boy love themes.
