The August 13th episode of SBS’s “Dolsing Fourmen”featured special guest appearances from Kan Mi-youn, Lee Hee-jin, Kim E-Z, and Shim Eun-jin of the popular group Baby Vox.
During the promotion of their representative song “Killer”, the members of Baby Vox shared that they were subjected to severe attacks and threats from anti-fans. Despite being in their late teens at the time, some even went as far as threatening to take their lives. This matter was even covered in the news.
Upon asking, “What caused the formation of your anti-fans?”, Tak Jae-hoon was informed by Shim Eun-jin that it stemmed from a scandal involving a popular male idol. As a result, his fans turned against us. However, instead of causing division, the constant threats from anti-fans brought us closer together and strengthened our bond.
During a shoot at a folk village, Lee Hee-jin witnessed her fellow member Mi-yeon being aggressively cursed at by a group of middle and high school students who were on a picnic. Fueled by anger, Lee Hee-jin turned around and grabbed one of the students by their collar. Despite the student’s size, she shook them in an attempt to stop their excessive behavior towards her friend.
The members of Baby Vox revealed that their car’s windshield wipers were destroyed by anti-fans. Shim Eun-jin recalled, “The anti-fans caused chaos and we had to abruptly end a scheduled fansigning event. To avoid the commotion, we left through the back exit and quickly got into our car. However, while waiting at a traffic light, a group of anti-fans approached and began surrounding our car. One of the leaders even went so far as to break our windshield wiper. It was pouring rain at the time and our manager had to manually wipe the rain off the windshield during the rest of our journey.”
