On October 22, “The KStarNextDoor” YouTube channel unveiled a video titled “BABYMONSTER VS BABYMONSTER Super Vocal Strength Show,” featuring all members of BABYMONSTER as special guests.
During the event, host Jonathan posed a question to Chiquita, inquiring if there were any festivals BABYMONSTER aspired to perform at. Chiquita expressed her excitement, stating, “I’m not limited to just Coachella; I dream of performing at major festivals. Coachella is definitely a goal, but I’m eager to participate in other large events as well.”
Rami reacted by saying, “My girl carries such ambitious dreams,” while Rora noted, “Her Korean has improved so much! I’ve never heard her speak so fluently, especially when she said ‘not just’!”
Rora went on to share her aspirations, stating, “I would love to embark on a world tour. Recently, we attended a 2NE1 concert and now we want to create that joy with MONSTIEZ. We were meant to shine on stage and enjoy ourselves.”
BABYMONSTER’s eagerly awaited title track “DRIP” has garnered attention for including G-Dragon, a legendary figure from YG Entertainment, as one of its composers.
Asa shared her excitement, saying, “It was a privilege to have him record the demo for us. The producer instructed me to sing similarly to him, and I was like, ‘Wait, what? Me?’ I was so surprised and just focused on getting it right.”
When Jonathan inquired if GD provided guidance for the song, Rora teasingly said, “No spoilers, just watch out for it!” encouraging everyone to anticipate the release.
In the meantime, BABYMONSTER will be returning with their debut full-length album “DRIP,” scheduled to drop on November 1.
