During BABYMONSTER’s first OT7 airport experience, there was such an uproar that security guards had to form a human chain to shield them. When they made their “re-debut”with the song “SHEESH”following Ahyeon’s comeback, the group’s immense popularity was evident.
On May 9, BABYMONSTER arrived at the airport earlier than their scheduled overseas trip, marking the first time all seven members were seen together before their departure.
The idols remained composed and collected as they made their way in front of the eagerly awaiting fans and media, just as expected.
After exiting the car, the number of people eagerly waiting for the members was apparent. The members quickly organized themselves and gathered together for the media outlets, who had been patiently waiting for them, to take their photos.
As the members entered the airport, they were met with a shocking display of their influence. Fans filled the space and the crowds were clamoring for a glimpse of the members.
As the members proceeded deeper into the airport, they noticed an even higher level of busyness and crowds, but the group maintained their composure and professionalism as they greeted everyone.
As the group approached security, the crowds grew larger and Ahyeon appeared worried when a person in the crowd stumbled right in front of her. However, it appeared that the staff and security were also well aware of the situation with the crowds.
As the members approached the desk, the staff and guards quickly formed a human chain to ensure their safe passage through the queue.
Upon the release of the videos, netizens were astounded by the immense number of people who showed up to support the rookie group.

Despite BABYMONSTER’s “SHEESH”receiving mixed reactions from K-pop fans, it has been a topic of discussion in recent news. While some supporters commended the group for their bold departure from their usual “easy-listening”style and welcomed Ahyeon’s return, there were also detractors who pointed out similarities to BLACKPINK’s style and accused YG Entertainment of reusing concepts.
The group’s talent and the quality of the song were praised in positive comments, while negative ones raised concerns about YG’s creative choices and expressed disappointment. This mixed response reflects the diverse preferences of the K-pop community and prompts discussions about the changing trends in the industry.
