4. After All This Time, When Bonnie Finally Meets Cody, What Does She Decide?
Upon Bonnie and Cody’s arrival at Yancy’s cabin, Fitz quickly notices the chemistry between Bonnie and his son. Bonnie contemplates a future with 26-year-old Cody, believing that marriage could enhance their lives.
However, she feels disheartened after reading Cody’s diary filled with emotions reminiscent of when he was young and enamored with her. Bonnie is weary of running and knows pursuing Cody now could jeopardize her safety. Acknowledging her age, she desires a significant life change.
