Baek A Yeon shares exciting news: she’s expecting her first child!

On April 30th, Baek A Yeon announced on her SNS that she is expecting a baby. It has been 8 months since she got married.

Baek A Yeon announced the arrival of a precious baby angel, who has been like a gift to our family.

“She explained, “I wasn’t able to tell you beforehand, and now that we are halfway through this 10-month journey, we will be able to meet the baby in 5 months. Becoming a mother for the first time has been even more amazing and fulfilling than I could have imagined, and I am cherishing every moment. Thank you, Mom.”

The fetus of the baby is affectionately referred to as “Yong Yong”, and it has been confirmed to be a girl.

In the certification photos posted by Baek A Yeon, it is apparent that she is pregnant.

Baek A Yeon can be seen in the photos holding a well-defined ultrasound image of the fetus in one hand. Attached to her bag is a maternity badge and her belly also appears noticeably larger.

Despite the passing of time since the end of COVID-19, she was still wearing a mask, possibly for health reasons.

Despite facing difficult challenges in her childhood, including a battle with malignant lymphoma and taking time off from school, Baek A Yeon never gave up on her dream of becoming a singer. In fact, she first aspired to be a singer in 1st grade of middle school and her determination paid off when she gained recognition for her talents through her participation in SBS’s “K-pop Star”.

She joined JYP Entertainment in 2012 and debuted under their label. While pursuing her career in the entertainment industry, she tied the knot with a non-famous man in August of the previous year.
