Renowned soloist-songwriter Baek Yerin took to Instagram to address the music team behind Ha Sungwoon’s latest OST, accusing them of plagiarizing her song.
On her Instagram account, Yerin surprised her fans by sharing Ha Sungwoon’s official soundtrack “What Are We,”which serves as the theme for the popular romance drama “Love Next Door,”released on September 4th.
At first glance, it seemed like she was promoting the track. However, a closer inspection of her caption left many fans puzzled.
“It must suck to copy. Feel bad. If you want a song like mine, please ask me for it.”

Yerin alleges that the OST bears a striking similarity to her well-known song “O310,”which was released five years ago in 2019 as part of her album “Every Letter I Sent You.”
Many listeners remarked that the guitar intro of both songs was notably alike, leading fans to initially believe that both music videos could be from the same song.
Korean netizens criticized the production team for this “unfair”approach, urging them to apologize and appropriately credit Baek Yerin for her work.
Meanwhile, fans of Ha Sungwoon, known as HA:NEULs, are encouraging others not to direct their anger at the singer, highlighting that he is simply performing the soundtrack and is not involved in the composition or production process.
Here are some of the reactions:
- “Wow, when I first heard it, I also thought it was ‘0310’.”
- “If Baek Yerin is calling it out, then it must be plagiarism.”
- “I listened to it, and it feels like a remake.”
- “I don’t know much about music similarities, but once I heard it, I felt it was too similar.”
