Baldur’s Gate 3 fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the next update, Patch 6.
The update should bring a lot of new content, especially romances. So, many believed that the patch would be released on Valentine’s Day.
However, the Baldur’s Gate 3 community is no longer sure about this after a cryptic meme from the developers themselves.

The meme was originally posted on X, where a fan asked if they were going to release the update today. The developers responded with an image of the character Withered, and the simple caption, “No.”

This was then shared on the Baldur’s Gate 3 subreddit. Players quickly tried to figure out what it means.

The response to the possibility that the update will not come out today is rather mixed. Indeed, some players are ok with this while others see it as a marketing mistake. “They should release the patch when it’s ready. But it was a blunder of them to suggest this would be a Valentine’s Day patch and not release it on Valentine’s Day. Some people pause their game to wait for the update.”
However, others think they are just being facetious and joking with the person asking the question.
