Baldur’s Gate 3: Official Mods Offering All Races and Subclasses

Mods have been officially incorporated into Baldur’s Gate 3, and players can already access new races and subclasses to enhance their next playthrough.

Patch 7 has implemented a Mod Manager for Baldur’s Gate 3, featuring community-created content that is curated by Larian. While currently only accessible on PC, it is expected to be released on console and Mac in October.

Despite including all of the race and subclass choices from the D&D Player’s Handbook, Baldur’s Gate 3 fans have expressed a strong desire to experiment with options from other books. As a result, mods have been introduced to include additional content from these books.

The Astral Elves modification allows players to take on the role of Astral Plane sailors from the Spelljammer universe. This grants them an additional Cantrip, expertise in Perception, and the power to teleport short distances through their Starlight Step ability.

The Elemental Power – Genasi Race mod introduces four new choices: Air Genasi, Earth Genasi, Fire Genasi, and Water Genasi. These races have a lineage that can be traced back to creatures from the inner planes. As a result, they possess a natural resistance to damage from their respective home planes and gradually gain access to elemental spells as they progress in levels.

The Imp Race modification allows players to take on the role of a diminutive winged demon from the Nine Hells. These creatures can use their claws to scratch foes or unleash a scorching Firebolt Cantrip. As they progress in level, they will unlock powerful spells like Blur and Invisibility, as well as a poison sting attack.

The mod Kuo-Toa Playable Race allows players to take on the role of a strange fish-like creature. These characters have the ability to grip opponents with their crab-like claws, ensnare them with nets, and stir their comrades into a frenzy. Additionally, players have the option to select the Kuo-Toa goddess, Blibdoolpoolp, as their deity.

The Celestial Warlock rejects the malevolent Patrons of the original subclasses and instead draws power from the celestial realm. This grants them the capacity to heal their companions, amplify the potency of their Radiant spells, and unlock additional spells of fire and holiness in their expanded repertoire.

The subclass Warlock – The Remembrance focuses on harnessing the knowledge of a past existence. This entails the enhanced skill proficiencies of the Rogue combined with the additional spells of the College of Lore Bards.
