Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 6 Bugs Frustrate Players

Baldur’s Gate 3 players are reporting a litany of bugs following the launch of Patch 6. And not the cool Helldivers type either.

Baldur’s Gate 3 recently received a major update with the launch of Patch 6. While the most anticipated feature announced in the patch was the new kissing animations, there’s more to it than that.

Players were quick to praise the new quality of life improvements that Patch 6 brought, including new team management options and a better inventory UI. Unfortunately, not all of the new additions in the latest Baldur’s Gate 3 patch are positive.

Reddit user u/Cygerstorm took to the Baldur’s Gate 3 Subreddit with a laundry list of bugs they’ve encountered in their Honor Mode play since the release of Patch 6. Other players quickly chimed in with their own experiences so far.

Patch 6: Honor Mode Apocalypse. byu/Cygerstorm inBaldursGate3

u/Cygerstorm listed a total of 14 bugs they had encountered so far, calling their Honor Mode playthrough an “apocalypse”and saying the game had become a “city of bugs.”Notable issues included various enemies and friends acting in unusual ways, including some clumsiness on Whithers’ part.

“Withers rose from his grave, slipped on grease from a skeleton fight, then attacked and killed my team,” they elaborated. “We took a vote and decided that you would experience all the weird bugs so the rest of us could play honor mode without issue,” another player replied jokingly.

In the post’s comments, other Baldur’s Gate 3 adventurers emerged to report their own bugs. One of the worst is an issue where the game’s sellers are entirely unavailable.

“Their items are disappearing and their gold is set to 0. Switching characters and returning during interaction can potentially fix the issue,” one user explained. “Others have reported that saving and exiting may resolve the issue but in my case, it bricked my Honor Mode save.”

It’s certainly a bit disappointing for a patch that was so well received for its planned changes.

Hopefully the team at Larian can whip up a quick fix that takes care of some of these.
