Baldur’s Gate 3 Player Makes Shocking Revelation About Dwarves

Baldur’s Gate 3 has a wide range of items and potions that can help you in the most difficult fights. As one player discovered, Dwarves can play an important role in combat – but not in the way you think.

Baldur’s Gate 3 isn’t shy about the gore and disgusting elements. There are many enemies, characters and locations that give players goosebumps. And let’s be honest, this also applies to some things you can consume. In fact, a player made a discovery on this subject that sends chills down your spine.

Baldur’s Gate 3 player discovers Roasted Dwarven Belly to eat

As player lawyered2020 discovered, one of these gruesome consumables is a Roasted Dwarf Belly. “Why does Dwarf meat heal you?”» he asked on Reddit. “My poor Nain Tav is screaming, crying and vomiting.”

The player shared a photo of the item he picked up: a piece of roasted Dwarf. Not only could they eat it, but it turned out to be a pretty good healing item that heals you for 4d4.

In the comments, players were also horrified. One of them actually provided the OP with an explanation as to why this is possible; Dark Impulses is healed with Dwarf meat in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Another player shared an equally terrible detail: “If you play Dark Urges, I think he actually makes a comment about how delicious it smells when they arrive at the goblin camp by the cooking fire.”

Not only can this item heal you when playing as Dark Urges, but you also get an Inspiration point when you eat it. Given that Dark Impulses is a pure spawn of Bhaal, this makes sense, despite the fact that it’s pretty disgusting.

So if you come across Dwarf meat while playing as Dark Impulses, remember that eating it could be to your advantage. You don’t need to tell anyone about it. The choice is yours and the Baldur’s Gate 3 community will not judge you.
