A Baldur’s Gate 3 fan has discovered a whole new way to eliminate enemies in the Dark Depths à la Hitman, proving the freedom the game grants players.

Baldur’s Gate 3 inspires a staggering amount of creativity from its players. With such a developed story, world, and characters, fans can do pretty much whatever they want. Naturally, this can create extremely OP builds and inspire new ways to take down difficult enemies.

In fact, it’s not just the characters that inspire players in combat, but other games as well. One player used Hitman as inspiration to create the perfect mix for Dark Deeps enemies, making these battles incredibly easy.

On Reddit, player u/bmrtt shared his discovery. “So often in the Dark Depths, and I just realized that you can…poison Magmar and Pistle, the two Duergar next to the elevator, and kill them without actually attacking them.”

The Dark Depths are far from easy in Baldur’s Gate 3. Some battles can completely overwhelm you. So, approaching it this way will allow you to get rid of enemies after giving them a little drink.

Naturally, fans were excited to discover this new technique. One player said: “This is incredible” , others quipped that the idea came straight from “Hitman: The Dark Depths” .

Others then pointed out how shocked they were to discover this trick. “400 hours and I didn’t know that. I guess I’ll have to start another one to try it.”
