Reddit user savagegourd posted about this on the Baldur’s Gate 3 subreddit. He apparently found a way to defeat the House of Sorrow boss, Viconia, without fighting. He admitted that he “dreaded”this fight because of Viconia’s skills, especially her damage reflection and darkness spam.

“Tav and Shadow initiated dialogue with her, and I noticed that Astarion and Gayle were in the background. I changed to Astarion, I didn’t even hide, I just walked up to her and attacked her twice. She fell, without triggering a single action,” he explained.

He then admitted to being quite surprised, adding: “What, is that all? Was it possible all this time? “. Other players were just as surprised, and one was quite disappointed “to have found this post right after spending about an hour in The House of Sorrow.”

“I should have tried that!! I always started with the others so they would be out of the way,” added one player. Others mentioned that they had no idea about this trick and were “stunned”

Many consider the fight against Viconia to be difficult in Baldur’s Gate 3. However, if this method works for everyone, they can easily avoid this dreaded battle.
