Baldur’s Gate 3 Player Skips Whole of Act 2, Shocking Everyone

One Baldur’s Gate 3 player has stunned the entire community by disclosing how they unintentionally skipped through the entirety of Act 2.

One of the enjoyable aspects of Baldur’s Gate 3 is its replayability factor, as players often engage in multiple playthroughs to uncover exclusive dialogue options, fulfill quests they may have missed in previous attempts, and experiment with different character builds.

Nevertheless, one drawback of BG3’s open-world design is that crucial quests and entire portions of the game may be overlooked quite easily.

During their initial playthrough of the game, a BG3 player experienced a detrimental turn of events and shared their mistake in Act 2 with the community on Reddit.

I think I did Act 2 in the wrong order… byu/astroriental inBaldursGate3

“According to the player, upon visiting the Last Light Inn, they encountered only level 6 enemies (which they have since defeated) and no notable surroundings or quests.”

“As I reached the end of Act 3 and was about to enter Baldur’s Gate, I entered a focused state of mind. My character, Tav, made a comment along the lines of “Perhaps we should have lifted the curse after all.”This made me wonder if I had missed a crucial quest during my journey.”

Lifting the Shadow Curse in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3 is a major element that carries significant implications not only throughout Act 3, but also in the remainder of the game.

A player responded to the Reddit thread, saying, “Hey man, you missed a big chunk of Act 1, but don’t worry, you’ll have Act 2 to play through next time, haha.”

Another person chimed in, “You definitely missed a lot of content. A whole lot.”

Having missed almost all of Act 2, the original poster is now being asked by the community to provide updates when they start a second playthrough in order to compare their experience.

“Could you kindly let us know when you will be taking your second run? I would be thrilled to witness your reaction.”
