The Baldur’s Gate 3 community has compared the game to BG 1 & 2 and while it is superior in most aspects, there are a few features that players would like to enjoy again.
Larian Studios has always been very responsive when it comes to adding highly requested features. When players asked for a way to change their Tav’s appearance at will, the Magic Mirror was added. When people expressed a desire for an added challenge, they revealed Honor Mode.
But Baldur’s Gate has always remained close to its board game origins. Because of this, there are always a lot of stats and numbers that matter, even in the more spectacular mechanics.
A feature present in previous Baldur’s Gate games, but not available in 3, was tracking which party member killed the most enemies, and players are wondering if it could make it into Baldur’s Gate 3.
Players want to see a summary of the number of enemies killed by party members
Let’s admit it. At some point, you’ve wondered how useful Shadowheart really is. Well, with this feature you could see how many people she killed throughout your playthrough.
Player Mothraaaaa posted a screenshot from the previous games, saying: “In Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 I loved these super useful stats. Baldur’s Gate 3 needs it»
In BG1 & 2 I loved this useful set of stats. BG3 needs this. byu/Mothraaaaaa inBaldursGate3
Other stats included total experience value, favorite spells, and time spent with the party.
Several comments agreed. One player said: “This would be a really cool feature although I think I know the details. Astarion and Karlach lead for the Experiment, as they take down the BBGs. Karlach and my Tav for number of kills, and she can get like 5 actions per turn at level 10.”
Let’s be real, Lae’zel and Karlach would be at the top of these particular rankings in Baldur’s Gate 3.
