Baldur’s Gate 3 Players Come Up with Creative Ways to Eliminate the Game’s Most Despised Character

Baldur’s Gate 3 players have shared some of the innovative tactics they employed in order to eliminate the game’s most despised character, Wulbren Bongle.

Despite having some of the most wicked and disagreeable characters in recent years, Baldur’s Gate 3 still manages to gain admiration from some members of the community. However, this does not extend to Wulbren Bongle.

Despite the game being released, one thing that remains constant is the intense dislike towards Wulbren Bongle from players, leading to the creation of an entire subreddit dedicated to expressing this hatred. This animosity stems from his personality and overall attitude within the game.

Players have gathered in a Reddit thread to share their unique methods of dealing with the deep gnome, even though it is possible to use this trick to get rid of him in Act 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 players can’t stop hating Wulbren Bongle.

One player confessed that one of the most memorable moments of each of their playthroughs is when they manage to kill him near the docks before he vanishes.

“After Wulbren storms off upon completion of the Steel Watch Foundry quest, I quickly track him down and eliminate him near the docks before he can escape. Afterwards, I dispose of his body next to the ruined building,”they elaborated.

One user shared, “Whenever he tries to confront me for assisting the other side, I take the gunpowder bomb he gives me and throw it at him. Screw that guy, haha.”

“One person suggested that we break the tieflings out ourselves and then fireball Wulbren while he is still in his cell.”

However, another user chose to take a darker approach in their Dark Urge playthrough. They recounted their experience of using Wulbren as a makeshift melee weapon and quickly traveling to Moonrise, where they left him alone to be consumed by the shadows.

The appeal of Baldur’s Gate 3 lies in its vast array of approaches to various situations within the game. This is not limited to just dialogue and combat, but also extends to how one interacts with characters and the environment, providing a unique experience with each playthrough.
