Baldur’s Gate 3 fans have once again united to decide which companion is the worst of them all.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has captured the hearts of critics and fans alike with its creativity, freedom, sense of adventure, and vast array of content. As in any large RPG world, players can meet, befriend, and even kill many different NPCs throughout the game.
As a result, the Baldur’s Gate 3 community has debated online for months over which companion is the worst of all. While there are several names that often find themselves mentioned in these discussions, one companion has recently come to the forefront in a significant way.
The worst NPC in Baldur’s Gate 3 voted by the community
In a new thread on Reddit, a Baldur’s Gate 3 player posted a list explaining why he thinks Aradin is the least useful companion in the game, noting before making his list that, “At this point, I I killed Raphael.” The list includes the following explanation of why Aradin is so weak in their eyes.

“Apparently the news of my troop killing devils has spread.”
“And here is Aradin literally attacking a camp. Aradin is canonically in remedial classes.”
Fellow Baldur’s Gate 3 players quickly joined the Reddit thread, agreeing with the original author’s comments.
“I did my best to save inspiration to deliver a blow to him in honor mode. I think I only used one point but that was all that mattered to me before I got to the grove lol. I broke my oath by killing him & then again by resurrecting Mayrina’s guy.”
Others also described Aradin as “different” and “unique” with strong tones of sarcasm and emojis included.
